Texting
What do you think of texting? I think it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. You can ask a question and get a quick answer without all the polite preludes you have to go through on the phone if you are actually talking to someone. Texting saves time. I find that people respond quicker to texts than they do to phone calls. I even used it once when I was in the kitchen and my grandson was in the family room. What did I text? "Take out the garbage!" [knowing he ALWAYS looks at his texts] Try it with your own kids. It works!

Texting is a BEUATIFUL thing - I agree 100% Oma. I used it hourly at least to correspond with Employees, Nannies and recently some Families have begun texting me. It's awesome, and I prefer it to speaking on the telephone, by far - its' faster, and I can use fewer words. Isn't technology a beautiful thing? Too bad I can't see the keys on my Blackberry though. at least I have the keys memorized like a typewriter (with far more typos)
